Which one should you book?
Six packages sounds like a lot until you know what separates them. Almost every booking comes down to three things: whether anyone is living in the home, what you are cleaning off, and whether you want this once or on a rhythm.
- Standard up-keep — the maintenance visit. Book it when the home is lived in and reasonably kept, and book it on a schedule if you want to stop thinking about it. This is what most recurring customers are on.
- Detailed deep clean — the reset. Book it when a lived-in home has not had proper attention in a while and the problem is built-up grease and grime rather than everyday dust.
- Extreme deep clean — the reset for homes well past that point, where the build-up has had years rather than months.
- Move-out / move-in — for an empty home only. Emptiness is the requirement, not a preference: it is what lets the scope reach inside cabinets, ovens and closets.
- Post-construction — after builders leave. The widest set of surfaces including walls and ceilings, but it removes dust rather than scrubbing grime.

Which cleaning service do I actually need?

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?
A standard up-keep clean is maintenance. It covers the surfaces you live on — floors, worktops, bathrooms, kitchen exteriors, dusting, making the bed — and it assumes the home is already in reasonable order, which is why it is the one people book weekly, bi-weekly or every four weeks. A deep clean goes after what maintenance leaves behind: built-up grease around the cooker, grime in bathroom joints, the parts of a home that daily tidying never touches. It takes longer and costs more per visit because it is genuinely more work. The practical rule is that a deep clean is a reset, not a rhythm. Many people book one deep clean to get a home to a good baseline, then keep it there with standard visits at whatever cadence suits them.
Do I need a move-out clean or a deep clean?
It comes down to whether the home is empty. A move-out clean requires it, and that is the whole point — with nothing in the way, the scope opens up to inside every cabinet, inside the oven and fridge, and closets down to bare shelves. None of that is possible around furniture and belongings, which is why a deep clean does not include it: a deep clean works around the things in your home. So if you are handing keys back or taking them on, book move-out and empty the place first. If you are staying put and just want the home properly reset, book deep. One honest caveat worth knowing: no clean guarantees a deposit back, whatever anyone tells you, because condition, paintwork and the state of the appliances all factor into that decision alongside cleanliness.
